​There are lots of ways you can support us or get involved with Ripon YMCA. Volunteering could be a great way to do this.

Trustee: As a trustee you oversee the work of the organisation, make decisions about finance, staffing and strategic development. We have 6 Board meetings a year, and most trustees engage with a sub group meaning a total commitment to around 12 meetings a year.

Activity Support Volunteer: We have some communal space at the YMCA which provides games and activities for our tenants, alongside a kitchen. This area needs to be supervised to allow the tenants to use these facilities You would need to provide a regular few hours a week, and do some basic safeguarding training with us.

Events Volunteer: We have a number of community events and activities every year including our annual Sleep Easy, stalls and food collections. If you can help us to talk about our work, make tea and coffee, or provide stewarding you would be very welcome. 

​Fundraiser: Do you want to take part in an event, challenge or activity to raise funds or sponsorship for Ripon YMCA? We have had people run marathons, 10k races, baked cakes or done collections for us. Please get in touch if you can support us raise funds.

Adviser: We know there are many professionals in our community, if you have housing, legal, governance or other related experience would love you to help us out.
