Ripon YMCA offers Supported Housing for homeless, vulnerable or young people at risk of becoming homeless aged 16 – 35.
Young people come to us from a variety of situations, usually when their family relationships break down, or they have been trying to live independently for some time and have struggled.
We offer a safe and secure place to call home for up to 2 years, which gives our tenants the time, space and support to develop independence.
We cannot take pets or couples as we offer single person dwelling. Rent is usually paid through Housing Benefit, which we will help you apply for if appropriate, alongside Universal Credit.
We also have a few General Needs rooms with a rent of £120 per week for 18 to 35 year olds. Please contact us for more information.
To access Ripon YMCA accommodation you must contact the office direct by calling 01765 607609. Under 25's may also be asked to contact the Hub at Housing Options at North Yorkshire Council to have a housing assessment to find the most suitable accommodation.
Ripon YMCA actively supports our young people to move-on to independent living. We aim for a planned, positive move-on for all our tenants and support them to achieve this outcome.
The accommodation provided is split between Bateman House and Normanby House. Rooms have bedsit facilities with communal showers and toilets, washing and drying facilities.
